Christmas Trees
Around the corner of the Deans Garden I saw a lot of Christmas trees in pots. I remember during the Christmas Market they had Christmas Trees like this dotted around, could these be the same trees? Could they stay alive in a pot that long?
Yes, they can, as long as they are watered thoroughly and get the odd feed. They probably change the soil every few years, and up the pot size. The cathedral's head gardener is very good - and female!
The first year we had the christmas market and skating rink we were so excited! It was very pretty. I spent rather too much money there.

The Christmas market appears to get more and more popular each year.
