Baristas Coffee House

First visit to a new coffee shop in the High Street. It's an independent which is always good. Slightly away from the very centre of the High Street, much more room inside and not as pricey as the other new edition to the High Street Caracoli. I don't really 'do' coffee, but the tea was nice and other half said the coffee was good and I had a nice slice of cake. There's also free wifi.

      It's next door! Long Tall Sally is just to the right, in the picture. The previous shop to Baristas was called Pavillion, which has moved down to the square.

    I too much prefer to frequent (though not frequently) non chain coffee shops. I love this old building.

    The Courgette & Lemon cake is simply divine, and the coffee is amazing! Definately the best coffee house in Winchester.

    Fantastic, local coffee shop. Really nice inside and lovely girls serving. Loved the coffee- a nice anditote to the coffee chains along the street! I hate Starbucks! Great work and look forward to my next coffee :)
