Snow at Winnall Moors?

Over at Winnal Moors the other day the river had a strange coating on top, it almost looked like snow.

    wow! I guess it was foam from gas from the bottom, because of the warm weather? Swamp gas!

    hiya wasn't it great, looked like snow and ice. It's willow seed, wonderful cottony tufts of it.

    Amazing, I have never seen it on water. Around here black poplar seeds are doing the same thing on the fields.
