In the Dean Garnier Garden at the Cathedral I spotted this stone bench with a little stone dog underneath.

A stone dog! I've never seen such a bench. So nice, so old.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - lovely patina
ReplyDeleteWonderful to include the dog under the bench.
ReplyDeleteCharming!
ReplyDeleteGreat! I'd like to post this picture on my A Bunch of Benches, obviously with credits and a link to the original post. Please, let me know if you agree...
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute & unusual addition to regular benches!
ReplyDeleteVP - more than happy for you to use the photo!
Can you tell us something about the wall? It looks so old. Like the bench.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was real dog until I read that it is a stone. I see stray dogs everyday in India and for a moment I thought they are in EU too.
ReplyDeleteI just love this bench! You should send it to Rune in Norway for his collection of bench photos.
ReplyDeleteThe wall is part of the garden.
ReplyDeletewhich is part of the cathedral
We don't get to see too many stray dogs, but there are plenty of unwanted ones in dog resuce centres round here
Great picture! I'm using this picture in my blog, thegardenofstories.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind.
