Still green
Although it's October you can see that most of the trees round here are still quite green and the weather this weekend the weather was very mild. On the other hand you can also see a fair few brown leaves on the ground.
****I am away with work at the moment. Back on Friday. I've scheduled these posts whilst away. For photos of where I am see Brussels (Gattina hope you don't mind me linking to your photos!)****

Itchen Way

Sad Sunflowers
Spotted these sunflowers with their heads down at the Edington Road allotments. I am on the waiting list to get one of these allotments, and there are 70 people ahead of me...! I was on the way to watch Winchester City Football Club whose ground is nearby, unfortunately I didn't manage to get any photos from the match due to my camera battery expiring soon after this shot!

Take Flight
Currently at the library (Winchester Discovery Centre) is an art exhibition called Take Flight which features work by artists inspired by the world of birds and the environments in which they live. Here are a few of the paintings. Normally they don't like you to photograph in here, but this time they didn't raise any objections! This weekend is the Hampshire Open Studios where artists in Hampshire open their studios to the public to visit, so I hope to be able to get some photos over the next few days.
