Above the eyeline

This is actually Edwardian 'Mock Tudor' architecture which sits above Boots the Chemist. The 4 carved figures represent some of the Bishops of Winchester - St Athelwold, Henry Fox, Wakelin and William of Wykeham.

  1. There's a mock Tudor thatched house in Stockport that isn't even thatched. At least this has a neat clock.

  2. Lovely shot - I like the contrasting black and white. It reminds me a lot of Chester.
