War memorial

The poppy wreaths were still in place at the war memorial in front of the cathedral, looking very bright on the misty morning that I was there

    I usually read the names on any war memorial that is new to me, am usually surprised (again) at the number of names that are on memorials in small villages. So many mostly young men, gone and not quite forgotten, by this I mean the men of the Great War.
