Members of parliament

The far wall of the Great Hall is covered in a list of all Hampshire's members of parliament from the reign of  Edward I 1283 up to Queen Victoria 1868.

A random choice here from 1852.

  1. It's quite fascinating, I thought it was a family tree at first, but one that didn't make sense!

  2. If I was a recent MP I would feel a bit miffed that I was not on there. Still where did I put that expense form... there must be something else I can claim for, yep the kit-kat I nibbled on the train and the coffee, the copy of The Telegraph, I feel sure I am missing something. 4. One of our Hampshire MPs was the guy with the duck house that he claimed on expenses... and the ducks didn't even like it!
