Light of Bengal
It doesn't look like the classiest place, perhaps not the best choice for a first date? However the Light of Bengal does a very nice Indian take away and is the closest to home. Very useful when no-one wants to cook!
Perhaps its the old never judge a book by its cover. One of my favourite books is pre war and has no dust jacket and just a few photos but I love this long ago mostly forgotten book about travels in a far off time and place. I do not eat out often but all I really care about is the food and are the staff friendly.
The takeaway part of the business certainly looks better than the restaurant part!

ReplyDeleteI thought at first that this was a before and after shot. It does look a little suspect, but then maybe they put all their energy into their food.
